Clint Hannah-Lopez is an author and entertainment attorney working for FX Networks and living in Los Angeles with his wife, daughter, and their dog, Coco. Working on award winning shows and international commercial successes, Clint is well versed in storytelling professionally. He is also a voting member of the Television Academy.
Prior to joining FX, Clint worked as Counsel at Disney Theatrical Group where he worked on both internationally recognized stage shows and those in the earliest stages of development. Before that, while studying at the University of North Carolina, Clint was a paid motivational speaker and traveled around the states in the Southeast and Midwest, speaking to conferences of 2,000-4,000 middle and high school students, teachers, and administrators on topics including self acceptance, perseverance, and finding the humor in life.
Outside of his professional experience, Clint enjoys performing comedy, having previously been in the rotation of standup comedians at the former DSI Theater in Chapel Hill, North Carolina and is a graduate of the improv comedy program at the Upright Citizens Brigade Training Center in New York. Clint was also formerly a participating member of the Drama Desk, an organization that has been supporting excellence in New York theater since 1949.
Clint grew up playing football and baseball, while simultaneously reading comics books and playing various roleplaying games. It made him, in his words, "either a geeky jock or a jocky geek."
Clint tries to smile in all he does. As he often says, "I woke up this morning, could be worse."
